WOYWW - already?

Who took away the last week? It's the bank holiday syndrome I guess, but it still feels like Monday to me. Anyhoo, it's time to settle down with a cuppa and make the rounds of crafty spaces via ~{Julia's Blog}~. It takes longer each week as there are always new people's desks to look at. Sorry if I don't make it round to everyone's.

It's not too bad this week again, I'm really trying not to let it get too messy again. This week I've got this year's retreat journal in the bottom left corner that I'm working on. The pages on top are the latest set about to be painted. It's in 5 weeks time so I'm hoping to have it finished so I can just attack it when I'm there.

There's a get well card there too (bigger photo below) which is for my mum. I've just had a call and she's had her operation and all went well. She was first on the list so no hanging around. I'm also working on a second one for dad to give to her. I think my recycling bin needs emptying don't you?

I'm hoping that one of you lovely WOYWW'ers will recognise the image on the card as I can't find where I got it from. It was via blog hopping I found the site for digi images and bought this and a couple of others as they made me laugh. *UPDATED* the image is from ~{Bugaboostamps}~

I've coloured it with Copics and the paper is a very old bit of stash so I don't know the make of that either. Useless I am.

Forgot to say my both daughters are tidier than me, they usually pick my bits up, I know it should be the other way round, but Im not complaining.

Love the card you are working on.. I have that paper but haven't been brave enough to cut into it yet... it's so beautiful!!
BTW the clasp on the notebook is a Teresa Collins Perfect Closure. They are usually stocked in amongst the bind-it-all supplies :)
