SDC8: Purple plus a WOYWW

Today is the first of my DT cards for the ~{Stampotique Designer's Challenge}~ and the theme this fortnight is to make a card using purple as the main colour. For this challenge you need to use any ~{Stampotique}~ stamps you may have. There is a chance to win a $15 voucher to spend in the store.

I have cut and doodled a frame for the whole card, then used a ~{Tando}~ whiteboard arch that I have just stamped and doodled on - love the whiteboard for this, no painting needed - and coloured Linda in with Copics. I've finished off with some of Tim's flower dies and black gems.

So now, as it's Wednesday, it's time to show the desk off and get very nosey at other's via ~{Julia's Blog}~. I missed out last week, but I'm suitably messy to make up for it.

I'm in the middle of 2 projects at the mo: the altered jigsaw piece and last night I started on a card, but only got as far as stamping before giving up!

I've swung to the right today to show you a pressie I got from the lovely ~{Karen}~. She was getting rid of the wooden stackable trays so I jumped at the chance to have them! I've got my paints and glimmery bits in them and, at some point, I will decorate them.

I hope to make it round to as many other desks as possible, but now there's over 100 taking part, I won't get to everyone's unfortunately.

Those wooden stackable trays are awesome. You really scored! I can see why you jumped at the chance to get them.

Like you, I find it harder and harder to make it to every blog. I know how frustrating that can be, too. Have a happy WOYWW.

I didn't realise it was a handbag - I thought she had chopped off the head, lol. It wasn't until Karen said about it in her comment that I looked again, haha. Now I know. Perhaps my mind is too gruesome, even for that range of stamps..... ;o)

Fabulous card Kaz! Love the doodled frame! Thanks for sharing your desk & storage too! BTW did you know Tim recommends storing the dabbers upside down? Think it helps them flow better xx
