Stampotique Treat Project

For this week's challenge, set by ~{Betty}~ on the ~{Stampotique Designer's Challenge Blog}~  we are asking you to make a gift bag or box to hold your Trick or Treat goodies. Now I've never been someone who's into Halloween, but when you have such lovely stamps by ~{Stampotique}~ it makes it much more fun.

I recently bought a set of 3 wooden gift bags, so I used the biggest one for this.

I painted it first with Pumpkin Eco Paint then used Black Soot DI around the edge, blending it with a baby wipe so it wasn't too heavy and it showed the texture of the wood. As it's made of wood, I was able to stamp directly onto the bag and then paint the images using DI's as watercolours.

I then doodled a border around both sides and tied some wired cord through the holes.

These are the stamps I've used:

6099 Halloween Cube 1
6105 Puss Puss
6110 Halloween Cube 2
6112 Tree
6117 Birds and Bugs Cube
6118 Gog Lin ........... all by Daniel Torrente and Jill Penney, and
3033 Batty by Jo Capper-Sandon.

Additional alpha stamps by See D's.

This time you can use any stamps to create your Treat Project and everyone will be entered into the random draw to win a $30 Voucher to spend in the ~{Stampotique Store}~

oh Kaz I bet this is surely wonderful in real life as it is brilliant on here. Great that it is made of wood too and will not get crushed or spoilt.

Now all you need is some sweets and choc to fill it....
