Stampotique Sponsors ...... LIM Part 4

I'm really enjoying doing these cards for ~{Less Is More}~ so I'm going to try very hard to join in more of them. Mind you, as you may have noticed from the lack of posting, there's not been a lot of things to show.

This week's theme is Paper Piecing:

I've used ~{Blessed Skellie}~ stamped onto various Echo Park Hello Summer papers and a book page and stood her onto some torn Washi tape. I've then stamped ~{Beauty Verse}~ which is perfect for Skellie - I happen to think she's fab and she fits so well into the quirky ~{Stampotique}~ family.

You can see the other creations by the DT on our ~{Designer's Blog}~ and if you join in you could win a $30 Gift Certificate to spend in the Stampotique Store.

Love the use of those bright cheerful papers on that rather scary monster haha. The text wings are really clever too.

Your paper piecing is perfect (I tend to shy away from this, but did some the other day) - I love taking part in LIM, so I might try to do a bit more paper piecing for that x

Oh I love this one, because it's paper piecing (tick), C.A.S. (tick), made by Kaz (big tick), and I am loving the couple of DP's under the image that is so popular now often done with Washi tape that seems a bit of a flash in the pan crafting gimmick, but I may well be proved wrong(!), what do you think? A patterned semi translucent tape - hmm. Although Bakers Twine seems to have become a crafter's staple and I didn't like that when it first got used on cards and I do know. Bakers twine seems more popular than seam binding.
